Rekeying Locks on Doors
Consider rekeying the lock on your front door if your security has been compromised by the following situations:
- You are facing the possibility of being locked out by another person who lives at the same residence.
- Your key has been loaned out in the past, and may have been duplicated for less-than-honest purposes.
- Your keys may have been or might be misplaced.
- You want to avoid replacing the entire lock system.

Extracting a Broken Key
Yes, it happens. Keys can wear out and break in the lock. Sometimes just a regular amount of pressure to turn the key results in a snap. Some keys can be poorly made and easily bend or break in the lock. This is the perfect time to call a locksmith. We can extract the broken key without damaging your lock and of course, we can cut you a new key, or several.
We don't recommend that you try extracting the key yourself, though it is tempting. Trying to remove a key with a tool not designed for that work (think a set of pliers) will undoubtedly result in damage to the lock. A locksmith will have the tools and expertise necessary to safely remove the broken key from your house lock.
